We are excited to announce that we have broken ground on the Eighth Street Community Laundry Room!
Upon completion, four heavy-duty washers and dryers will be ready to tackle our 150+ loads of weekly laundry.
The space will contain a folding and sorting room, a storage area for supplies, and a full bathroom with an accessible shower. Residents will also be offered skills training in areas such as scheduling, fabric care, and machine usage, preparing them for possible jobs at hotel and hospital laundry facilities.
