This month we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and Easter all together. Our residents also attended Trinity Friend’s Easter Celebration where they enjoyed some delicious food and played Bingo! We are thankful for all those who donated and assisted with our events throughout the month. March also welcomed new staff at Eighth Street with a new Operations Director and new House Managers. Please feel free to stop in and say “Hello” to the new faces around the houses.
This month we received many donations of items that our residents need for their daily care such as food, paper towels, laundry soap, and personal care items. We can provide their care because of donations that are received. We cannot do what we do without you!
In the month of April we are excited to have the ribbon cutting for our new laundry room which will help tackle our 150+ loads of laundry! We are thrilled about giving our residents the opportunity to learn skills that will help prepare them for potential jobs. Please consider joining us for that event on April 3, 2024 at 11AM.
In the month of May we are hosting our annual Love Grows Here Fundraiser, proudly sponsored by Venturi, a Chenega Company. By attending, you contribute to the care and well-being of our residents who depend on the support and services provided. We can provided their support and care because of the donations that receive.
