Sponsor Christmas in July 2021

Christmas is that time of the year when everyone becomes a child and wishes for the impossible. At Christmas, our residents are blessed with what they want and not always what they need.

In July 2013, Christmas arrived mid-year at 305 8th Street and has continued to return thereafter every July 25. The residents created a different kind of wish list for this Christmas Celebration. They wish for personal hygiene products, brand new undergarments, soft bed sheets, plumb bed pillows, fluffy towels, health aid products, such as Bio Freeze and Icey Hot for aching joints, a new hair brush, new socks, especially socks for diabetics. You can find them at the Dollar Store!  Sugar-free cereals and snacks are always at the top of the list.

Christmas in July at 305 8th Street has grown into a zany holiday that our residents look forward to each year.  Since its inception, we have given donors a chance to sponsor the event or sponsor a resident.
