About the event
The annual Love Grows Here event sponsored by Venturi, a Chenega Company is to raise awareness and funds for the care of adults living at 8th Street Community who require 24-hour and supportive care based on their cognitive abilities and inability to be independent. The night features a catered dinner with an open bar, violinist Winslow Davis and meaningful commentary and video to pull at your heartstrings. The 8th Street Community residents and organization do not receive state waivered assistance, therefore the community has been our backbone for making the required match each year.
