Summer is in full swing at Eighth Street Community, and we have so much to be thankful

for! Our homes and programs are filled with activities, community outings, friendships, and plenty of laughter. At the same time, we are continuing to look toward the future through our Bridge to 100 Initiative—our vision to expand our family-model housing and support network and create more opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities throughout our community.

Volunteers Make a Difference

Our volunteers are a huge part of everything we do! To every individual, business, church, and community group that gives their time and talents: thank you! You help with projects around our homes, support activities and events, and bring friendship and connection to our residents.

As Eighth Street grows, so does our need for volunteers. Whether you have a few hours, a special skill to share, or a group looking for a meaningful service project, there is a place for you at Eighth Street.

Adult Day Program Spotlight

Our Adult Day Program is growing, and we are welcoming new participants! For more information check it out Details & Fees.

The program provides a safe and welcoming place for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build independence, develop meaningful friendships, learn new skills, and stay engaged in our community.

Days are filled with activities, crafts, games, community outings, and lots of fun! If you know an adult who may benefit from our Day Program, please help us spread the word.

We would love the opportunity to meet more individuals and families!

Supporting Eighth Street can be simple. Give your time. Share our mission. Help meet a daily need. Attend an event. Every act of support helps us provide the best possible services and opportunities for the individuals we serve.

Whiskey & Wine brings friends and supporters together for whiskey and wine tastings, great food, and fellowship—all in support of Eighth Street Community.
