Since the outcry for help when we had to quarantine our residents on March 13, 2020, donors responded immediately to our needs. We are blessed to have house managers who can cook with love and know how to throw a mad meal together. Improvising is one of the daily ingredients of being a house manager. When we have a TON of Apples and Potatoes donated, here is what one house manager did that was a crowd-pleaser. Meet Shonda Freeman-Thomason, House Manager since Sept 2017.
"I don't have a recipe. I throw it together." Shonda continues, "And I don't believe in instant potatoes."
Comfort Food made with Donations
The one who cooks a good meal in the family is one of the most loved in your tribe, don't you agree?
Our resident's wouldn't dare vote on a house manager favorite, but they went on and on about this good meal.
Thank you for all of the donors setting food on our benches and porches. Your support is appreciated.
